EXPLANATION Each sentence that you write should begin with a capital. It should also end with a full stop. Notice the bold letters in this explanation. They are all capitals because they have been used to begin sentences.

Some people who do not use capitals well make the mistake partly because they also use commas instead of full stops. Teachers call that the comma splice. It is not a good habit to get into. Make sure that you place a full stop at the end of each sentence and start the next sentence with a capital letter.

Because emails are often very informal, people often write them without using capital letters. Edit the message below, so that each sentence begins with a capital letter.
